Inspiration

We thought of an issue that affects all members of the group and something we all saw as useful to students globally.

What it does

Take Note creates a transcript of lecture upon the teacher's request, creates a summary of notes, and gives students access to a chat bot to ask queries to the transcript.

How we built it

We used react, Javascript, HTML, and CSS to control the UX/UI aspects. Using Python, Javascript, and multiple AI APIs, the logic was created.

Challenges we ran into

Different APIs we used were difficult to blend together. Also, some features like speech-to-text took some outside-the-box thinking. We all pushed ourselves to develop using technologies we were unfamiliar with and made it through successful

What we learned

We learned about how different systems and languages can be integrated together. We also gained valuable experience with AI chat bots and creating our own custom chatbots.

What's next for Take Note

The sky is the limit with this project. There is much more implementation that can be done to increase the usability and accessability of this application.
