Inspiration

We were inspired by the wastefulness of the fast fashion industry.

What it does

It features a well built frontend that displays our stance on and information about different things in the fast fashion industry.

How we built it

We built it using React and Flask. One team member worked on backend, two worked on frontend, and one worked on graphics for the website.

Challenges we ran into

This was the first time most of us had to work with these frameworks so we had to learn React. We also had trouble with connecting the backend to the frontend.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The frontend looks very good, and the graphics fit very well with the theme of the project

What we learned

We learned a lot about React, Bootstrap and Flask. We also learned about good coding practice for each.

What's next for Tailor Trade

We want to expand this project to be able to implement more features from our mockup and better implement the backend.
