Inspiration
I was walking down the street in Friday evening and i saw some two will thing like sag way but smaller and more simple I didn't know the name where to buy it or where to ask. so I thought I wish i had some easy way to find it just with taking a picture.
What it does
it uploads the picture to a community feed when the community helps you find and buy the product through Ebay. The seeker will get what he wants without any problems, the finder gets commission and becomes ebay's salesman. It has in it a mini-game that improves the tagging system in Ebay by showing the user pictures and choosing the right type of product it is we can make sure that Ebay's tagging is correct, if 99% of people said it's a specific a tag but the app says they are wrong... they are probably right.
How I built it
I programmed the servers transaction's with parse and the rest with objective-c.
Challenges I ran into
connecting to ebay's API and finishing the job.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We completed the project in 26 hours with minor bugs to fix.
What I learned
I learned how to program in limited period of time with not much rest.
What's next for TagIt
Improving UI and fixing bugs mainly.
