Inspiration
Our initial inspiration was to create an automated scavenger hunt, but we realized that there were many more potential uses for our idea. For example, stores could send out messages about savings to customers shopping there.
What it does
Tagger's two main features are viewing messages that others nearby have posted through a news feed and posting messages to a specified radius around them. In order to post and view messages, users must first log in to an account.
How we built it
Trial and Error.
Challenges we ran into
Since none of us knew Flask or very much Javascript, even some things that seemed really simple, like passing the latitude and longitude of the current location to a list, were challenging to figure out how to do.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Almost all of the features that we wanted to include in Tagger were successfully implemented.
What we learned
We learned the importance of planning and distributing tasks, as well as gained quite a bit of development experience.
What's next for Tagger

Built With
- flask
- html5
- javascript
- materialize
- python
