Inspiration

We missed playing tag with our friends like we always do in college.

What it does

Players can tag one another in a game of tag.

How we built it

We built it using the SFML Library in C++ and the UDP server was made in Node.JS.

Challenges we ran into

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to create a UDP server that was able to talk to our client the player. We were also able to create player movement and collisions. We also got the font working which took an hour.

What we learned

We learned about threads, UDP, netmasks, broadcast addresses, SFML framework, and working in a group.

What's next for Tag

The game will have a countdown timer and who ever is tagged after 60 seconds is done will lose the game. The person tagged will also get a speed boost and have rainbow colors!
