TacticalApes Grindset Website
Inspiration
As gamers, we all came together and wanted to share this passion for gaming with others. So our group came together and we created a website where you can enjoy timeless classics from where our passion originated. Have fun exploring our website and playing some of the most universal games!
What it does
Click around to go to the game page that you wish to play. Start the game up and enjoy!
How we built it
We built the website using a Flask/Jinja template. For the Chrome Dino game, we developed it using pygame and the help of a starter template which we then imbedded into the website. For the snake game, we developed it using pygame/python and then embedded into another page on the website.
Challenges we ran into
- A challenge that we ran into during the construction of the project was how to embed the games into the website.
- A challenge that we ran into during the construction of the project was having randomized backgrounds.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- We are proud of being able to figure out how to implement games into the website setting.
- We are proud of being able to develop a snake game using pygame from scratch
- We are proud of being able to complete the T-Rex Kit.
- We are proud of being able to build a website from scratch using flask and jinja.
What we learned
- We learned more about pygame and python and its intersection with web development.
- We learned how to develop a website using a flask+jinja
- We learned more about pygame and how game development occurs.
What's next for TacticalApesGrindset Gaming Website
We plan on expand the website by adding more games so that you can enjoy a consolidated experience with many games in one space. We also plan on adding a stats section where we will using game developers API's to retrieve information about players performances in multiplayer games such as League of Legends and Valorant.
