Tackling Covid

Inspiration

We wanted to embark on a project that was both meaningful and challenging and there probably is no better topic than the Covid-19 Pandemic that we are facing right now.

What it does

The team created a program that is able to read the data imported and aid us in visualising the key factors needed to determine the distribution of limited Covid-19 Vaccines. The program is able to generate a score and assign the priority of a person base on the key factors obtained.

How we built it

Along with packages such as pandas and matplotlib, we were able to efficiently create our program with python.

Challenges we ran into

We faced some difficultly in choosing the specific topic that we wanted to this project to be on.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

With this hackathon being many of the member's first, we are proud to be able to build a program that we felt meaningful and enriching.

What we learned

The team learned both technical and soft skills that will ready each of us for the VUCA world. We learnt to respect each other opinion's and give constructive feedbacks when needed. We also learnt how to effectively uses packages that will help to streamline our code and give a big performance boost in the program.

What's next for Tackling Covid

The team believes that there are further applications to Tackling Covid. It can be used for future vaccination programmes and in-demand Medical equipments.
