Inspiration

The $84 billion frustration factor. Our founding team experienced the same maddening scenario repeatedly: calling restaurants only to be seated in smoking sections, dealing with rude receptionists, or having reservations mysteriously disappear. But the real inspiration struck when we realized this wasn't just a customer experience problem—it was a massive revenue leak. Thirty percent of restaurant revenue is lost through reservation mismanagement, yet the industry still relies on overwhelmed staff juggling phones while serving tables. We identified an $8.2 billion market opportunity that was hiding in plain sight: the phone reservation channel that nobody was automating intelligently.

Challenges we ran into

The primary challenge remains the complexity of our platform. We are having an Admin side and a Client side. That requires a lot of testing and QA!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I would say that I am proud of the entire project, and TableWise.ai is a live statement that Vibe coding is real and is here to stay!

What we learned

I learned that AI is making mistakes :) And I, as the project owner, should catch them!

What's next for TableWise.ai

I will move in three main directions.

Continuous development and bug fixes in a more professional way using Bolt.new and GitHub branches.

Bootstrap and improving organic visibility using SEO to get clients

Raising seed funds from an Investor or VC.
