INSPIRATION: Growing up in Estonia and seeing the strong ties that the Estonian people have to nature and how it has positively affected their food quality and choices. We want to bring the same concept to the urban cities as a "greenhouse."

PROBLEM: During the global pandemic, we saw the limited access to quality food and an increase in the number of people that interact with the food via the supply chain, which can, in turn, spread a virus further. Not to mention past food illnesses that have become more common. By the time the food reaches the consumers in the store, it lacks the quality and taste while also creating a large carbon footprint.

SOLUTION: Our solution is Tables That Talk, where we will limit the interactions that your food meets by increasing the control one has over their own food. We plan to start by renting a building in metropolitan cities, which with current business failing, there will be an influx of commercial space. We will provide the area that will allow individuals to rent the space to grow plants that are pesticide-free, GMO-free, and organic on their need bases. We will source the materials for the growing infrastructure from industry experts. We will provide a safe environment for customers to grow their plants and the ability to check on them via the application and know that they have ownership for the plants that grow. However, all plants will be maintained by employees of Tables That Talk, meaning the customer, if they chose not to, does not need to be involved with the daily tasks of gardening. For full transparency, the customer is able to monitor their plant growth at any time via webcam and will be notified via the application when their plants are ready for pick up and ready for harvest. We also plan to offer via the app the opportunity for members of the community to barter and trade their plants should they grow more than they need or are missing last-minute plants, which in the end will create a community that meets around the table virtually or physically.

TARGET MARKET: Citizens of the urban and metropolitan communities who are the most affected by the pandemic disease and also the most removed from their interactions with nature and same time craving human connection.
