Tableizer is a web app that allows the user to upload an image of any chart or table and digitize it. The app divides up the picture into columns and rows and performs Optical Character Recognition to digitize the photo. The user then has access to download their table as an Excel document, which can be uploaded to various flashcard sites such as Quizlet or used as a plain chart, and the app also allows the user to quickly try out some simple flashcard with the data.
Tableizer is perfect for business use when one receives a printed table or chart which would ordinarily need to be typed in manually, wasting huge amounts of time that could be spent more productively. It is also great in a school setting. A student is able to take a printed vocabulary sheet that they received and automatically convert it to flashcards with no manual input required.
