Inspiration

In conversations with our customers, we often heard the statement, “But we don't have typical CRM or marketing data. Tableau Next can't do that.” And that's exactly what we want to disprove.

What it does

The project uses Tableau Next to accelerate the application process at an e-commerce company and support the HR manager in the decision-making process.

How we built it

First, we created dummy data and loaded it into the Sales Cloud. To do this, we adapted the structure, added new DLOs, and remapped them. We then built a semantic layer to which we added business logic and two dashboards in Tableau Next that answer basic questions about open positions and the application process. For deeper analysis and follow-up actions based on the results, we use different Salesforce native agents.

Challenges we ran into

Agentforce for Analytics still has difficulties detecting correlations between different tables within the semantic layer.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • We have managed to adapt Sales Cloud so that we can also use it productively for HR processes such as job applications.
  • Agentforce is able to match job postings with application documents and identify problems within an application process
  • Agentforce can determine who is the best candidate for an advertised position

What we learned

  • Salesforce also works for use cases that are not part of the typical portfolio.
  • Adding context to the data and training the agent are important parts of the implementation process.

What's next?

Next, we would like to add further processes such as the automated sending of invitations for job interviews. We would also like to use agentforce to create a questionnaire that is generated based on the specified requirements.
