Inspiration
With a history of Analytics work in the space we have often fallen short with driving action after uncovering insights. This new toolset opened up new possibilities for exploration.
What it does
It allows us to mix traditional dashboard views with an agentic experience to go beyond what is typically possible with BI tools.
How we built it
We identified a use case that we have seen before, described it in plain language with key dimensions and measures we saw value with, used AI to generate a dataset to tell the story, and then build the semantic model and analytics assets with that as our source.
Challenges we ran into
As we progressed through various talk tracks we had to adjust business preferences in the semantic layer to ensure that we were capturing the right verbiage and output from the agent. Over time we became more familiar with the right combinations.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
A coherent demo that speaks to real world issues with data interaction that are now actionable thanks to this new product.
