Inspiration
The inspiration for the project came from recognizing how difficult it is to navigate health services in the United States, especially for those facing barriers like cost, transportation, and lack of clear information.
What It Does
Our goal was to build a tool to help underserved and low-income individuals who struggle to navigate the healthcare system find care options, view provider ratings, and access transportation to their appointments.
How We Built It
We built the tool using the Nimbl Remote MCP Server, which queries data based on user input and structured prompts defined by our team. The input is through a form feed on Tally that connects to a google sheet and is passed through the AI agent in databricks
Challenges We Ran Into
Our biggest challenge was accessing and structuring data from Nimbl in a way that was easily interpretable for the end user
Accomplishments That We're Proud Of
A team of unknown individuals got together and built a product from scratch within the time allocated. We think that is a great accomplishment in itself! But we also believe in our mission the most which is helping underserved communities and we believe we have a viable end product to prove our intention
What We Learned
This was our first time working with Nimbl, and we’re excited to explore its data-searching capabilities in future projects.
What's Next for Table 5
We’re a team of individuals who connected for the first time this morning. We plan to stay in touch and look forward to seeing each other at many sessions throughout the week.
