Inspiration
The inspiration for this project comes from the distressed faced by several pilgrims visiting the holy sites when they want to find their locations.
What it does
It will assist authorities as well as pilgrims to locate an individual's location and navigate to it easily.
How we built it
Used web technologies to create our innovative app. Specialized Google APIs were used for Map, directions and its translation in different languages.
Challenges we ran into
There were many challenges that we faced during the development of this project. Initially setting up a smart application for authorities and pilgrims was itself a difficult task. However, this helped us to learn new things and resolved smaller tasks on the way.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We like to stay humble but we a definitely are proud for being among the world record breakers as well as for being participants in the best hackathon ever organized.
What we learned
We surely learned may things that are worth mentioning. Among them are some important Google API that helped us formalize our idea.
What's next for K-063-HajjAssistant project
We see our app becoming an important tool for authorities for assisting pilgrims for performing a safe and correct Hajj (geographically speaking)
