Inspiration
The Syracuse Housing Strategy and the growing awareness of the importance of walkable neighborhoods inspired us to create a project that addresses both housing affordability and community health. We recognized the need to revitalize Syracuse's housing market while promoting a more active, connected lifestyle for residents.
What it does
It provides an overview of the housing situation in Syracuse considering the past 5 years' data. It also aims to showcase areas of improvement.
How we built it
To gather for our project, we used the Syracuse open data portal, we also used walk score API to get access, excel for data analysis, and Tableau for dashboarding and data visualization.
Challenges we ran into
Unclean Data: The Latest data is not available for some datasets.
