Inspiration
We wanted to make coding practice and learning more engaging for students by bringing quizzes, coding contests, and learning resources into one platform.
What it does
Syntax is a learning and coding contest platform where students can:
- Participate in coding contests
- Take quizzes on different topics
- Explore articles and learning resources
- Track their participation and progress
How we built it
We built Syntax as a team using React.js, Express , and Firebase.
I mainly worked on the student-facing side, focusing on making the platform easy for students to use and navigate.
Challenges we faced
Connecting different learning activities into a single platform while keeping the student experience simple and consistent.
What we learned
Working as a team helped us understand frontend development, application workflows, and how different parts of a full-stack application connect.
We're looking to improve the student experience further with better progress analytics, leaderboards, and more interactive coding challenges.
Built With
