What it does
Synora is an AI-powered health and wellness application designed to bring multiple aspects of personal health into one platform. Instead of requiring users to rely on separate applications for different parts of their wellness, Synora combines them into a connected experience.

The main idea behind Synora is to move beyond simply recording numbers. It aims to help users understand their habits and make better everyday decisions.
How we built it
We started by designing Synora around the idea of a single personal wellness ecosystem. Instead of building completely separate trackers, we designed the different features so they could contribute to a broader picture of the user's well-being.
We first planned the user experience and divided the application into major areas such as the dashboard, nutrition, activity, medication, mental wellness, profile, and AI insights.
We then designed the interface to make health information easy to understand through visual dashboards, progress indicators, cards, reminders, and interactive components.
AI is an important part of the architecture. It is designed to process information provided by users and turn it into personalized insights. For example, food images can be analyzed to estimate calories, while wellness information can be used to generate personalized suggestions.
We also considered authentication, account management, privacy, and responsible handling of personal health information throughout the design.
Challenges we ran into
One of our biggest challenges was combining many different health features into one application without making it overwhelming.
Each feature has its own requirements. Step tracking is different from nutrition tracking, medication reminders are different from mental wellness, and AI recommendations require an additional layer of logic.
Another major challenge was designing AI features responsibly. Health information can be sensitive, so we had to consider how to provide useful suggestions without presenting AI-generated information as a medical diagnosis or replacing professional healthcare advice.
We also faced challenges in making complicated health information easy to understand. We wanted users to see meaningful information without being forced to interpret complicated statistics.
Privacy and security were also important challenges because the application is designed around personal information. We had to think about authentication, account management, data protection, and user control.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we were able to turn a broad idea about personal wellness into a complete application concept with multiple interconnected features.
One of our biggest accomplishments is creating a platform where nutrition, physical activity, medication, sleep, and mental wellness can exist together instead of being isolated in different applications.
We are also proud of the AI integration. Rather than using AI simply as a chatbot, Synora is designed to use AI as a personalization layer that can help users understand their information and receive recommendations relevant to their habits.
Another accomplishment is the focus on simplicity. Even though Synora contains many features, the goal is to make the experience approachable for someone who may not have technical knowledge about health data.
What we learned
Building Synora taught us that creating a health application requires much more than implementing individual features.
We learned the importance of user experience, data organization, privacy, responsible AI, and product prioritization.
We also learned that health data is interconnected. Exercise, nutrition, sleep, medication, and mental wellness can all contribute to a person's overall well-being. This influenced our decision to build Synora as a connected wellness platform rather than a collection of independent trackers.
Most importantly, we learned that AI should support users rather than replace human expertise. In a health-related application, recommendations need to be presented carefully and responsibly.

The next step for Synora is to continue improving the application and turning the current vision into a more complete, reliable product.
