Inspiration

We wanted to solve a simple but universal problem: people spend too much time trying to make sense of information they already have. After every meeting or financial review, there’s another document to summarize, another report to read, another follow-up to write. We realized that AI could take care of that - not just by summarizing text, but by turning raw data into insight.

That’s what led to Synoptic AI. It’s built on the idea that clarity shouldn’t take hours to find. With NeuralSeek powering the intelligence layer, we set out to create something that could understand both conversations and numbers, helping teams make better decisions faster.

What it does

Synoptic AI brings meeting and financial understanding into one space. You can upload transcripts, audio files, or financial reports, and within seconds, it generates structured summaries, action items, sentiment reads, and key insights - all displayed in a simple, interactive dashboard.

It’s built to give teams a clear snapshot of what’s happening, what needs attention, and what comes next. Everything can be reviewed, searched, and exported to Google Sheets for seamless collaboration.

How we built it

We built Synoptic AI as a TypeScript React app using Vite for fast development and performance. The interface was designed with Tailwind CSS to keep it responsive and easy to iterate on, and we connected pages through React Router for smooth navigation. NeuralSeek powers the core intelligence of the product by processing transcripts and reports into clear summaries, sentiment reads, and action items. Auth0 manages user authentication and keeps sessions secure.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was creating a smooth experience that worked equally well for meeting insights and financial data, but solving that made the final product stronger and more cohesive.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud that Synoptic AI feels complete and purposeful. It’s clean, simple to use, and produces meaningful outputs that actually help teams work smarter. Building a tool that combines meeting intelligence and financial insight in one interface was ambitious, and seeing it come together smoothly was one of our biggest achievements.

What we learned

We learned how to build for clarity instead of complexity. Working with NeuralSeek taught us the importance of structure, precision, and design that explains itself. We learned how to move fast while keeping quality high, how to unify different types of data, and how to make AI feel trustworthy instead of overwhelming.

What's next for Synoptic AI

We’re just getting started. The next step is to bring Synoptic AI closer to how people already work - with real-time meeting transcription, calendar syncing, and deeper financial visualizations that capture trends at a glance.
