Inspiration

We wanted to have a program that gave deaf people a way to experience music.

What it does

The program takes the frequency and volume of the sound, then it outputs colors in the order of the array and therefore the chronology of the song.

How we built it

We made a java program that takes a sound file and outputs colors.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the code to get the frequency and volume of the sounds.

Fixing the problems we ran into.

A lot about how mp3 files and java interact.

What's next for synesthesia

Getting it to output more complex songs.
