Inspiration

To make a one stop website which supports downloads from all social media platforms

What it does

it allows downloads from tikok, youtube, instagram

How we built it

we built it with flask servers in the backend(python) frontend with html,css and js

Challenges we ran into

we had many conflicting software such as flask not pairing well with instaloader. Flask servers does not seem to support stylesheets. Hence, we had to dump all the css into the html folders. Due to the number of html files, the URLs in the flask servers were often very confusing and difficult to navigate. similar html names lead to confusion among us

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we managed to offer downloads for instagram, youtube audio and youtube video. we are also almost done with the tiktok downloads(due to the token keys)

What we learned

we improved our backend python skills. we learnt how to better write our code to prevent confusion and slipups in the future. we improved frontend html and css skills by a huge margin.

What's next for Synergic

we plan to take it to the global stage where we can be the first website ever to support media downloads for ALL social media platforms in any file type such as mp3 or mp4 to even pictures
