What it does

Syncurio is a security solution that confronts the issue of strangers approaching people's doors. It uses the Watson API to recognize strangers that approaches and walks within the house. It categorizes and ranks people that approaches these cameras as friends or foe.

How we built it

Using the Watson api, nodejs, and cordova, we were able to make a mobile application that can connect to cameras and detect a familiar face from a foreign one.

Challenges we ran into

One major challenge that we faced was our attempts to train the Watson API. for countless hours we encountered a false return which meant that watson would not learn to recognize a familiar face.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of being able to receive the response data from Watson and then use that to display to the users if a stranger has entered their property

It's all elementary dear Watson.
