SyncUp

Inspiration

We choose Lab 2 for our inspiration. Our main inspiration in creating this system is connection. Creating a people centric tech brings people closer in the community and organization. While creating this innovation, we realized that by bringing people closer in an organization could also help the upper management of an organization learns more about their employees, the one that we called 'the people of the organization'.

What it does

SyncUp is a system that allows Human Resources team and upper management to access the progression of employees in the company. SyncUp provides a centralized system that displays a dashboard for employee updates throughout the year of their service. Looking through a more specific scope, each employee's data and progression, such as position upgrade, can be viewed through the system. This system also allows users to check the progression of the position throughout the year. SyncUp also provides an AI chatbot that allows user to input the data into the system, then it will analyze the data based on the prompt that you requested.

How we built it

First of all, we start to brainstorm all the idea. Once we concluded on our idea, then we start putting our idea to work by coding using HTML, JSON, a bit KIRO help for AI chatbot and a few others that is needed for visualization.

Challenges we ran into

We ran through a problem during the deployment of the system and spend quite a lot of time trying to solve the bugs and error.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are really proud of joining this in general. Trying to create a new system in a short amount of time is not an easy thing to do. Also, we finished all of our parts successfully and it has exceeded our expectations so far.

What we learned

We learn to be more prepared and test things out earlier after facing the problem with the deployment. While at that, installing everything beforehand is really important too TT.

What's next for SyncUp

In the future, SyncUp should be able to provide a cleaner view of the employee history. It can also provides a more detailed employee data such as maybe feedback and AI generated progression.
