Inspiration
Modern enterprise teams lose countless hours every week in virtual meetings, chat channels, and endless email threads. Important action items, strategic decisions, and hard deadlines often get buried under unstructured walls of text. Project managers and team leads regularly spend 3 to 5 hours each week manually distilling meeting notes, drafting tickets, and coordinating follow-up emails. We built SynapseFlow to automate this entire operational overhead and turn noisy communication into structured execution with zero friction.
What it does
SynapseFlow parses messy, raw meeting transcripts or unstructured project updates and instantly generates three structured outputs:
- Executive Summary: 3 high-impact bullet points designed for team leads and executives.
- Action Item Board: Prioritized task cards with automatically inferred task owners, urgency badges (High, Medium, Low), and target deadlines.
- Automated Follow-up Email: A clean, professional email recap ready to copy to the clipboard in one click.
How we built it
- Frontend: Clean, responsive single-page web application built with HTML5, modern Tailwind CSS styling, and vanilla JavaScript.
- Architecture: Client-side structured JSON schema extraction designed for instant execution and reliable data rendering.
- Deployment & CI/CD: Hosted directly on GitHub Pages for instant, zero-latency browser demo access.
- AI-Assisted Prototyping: Streamlined development and schema validation using Claude Code workflows.
Challenges we ran into
- Designing prompt logic and schema constraints capable of reliably separating casual conversational remarks from explicit commitments and deadlines.
- Coordinating distributed, rapid development between frontend UI components and workflow integration under tight hackathon timelines.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Shipping a fully functional, zero-latency interactive demo directly on GitHub Pages without requiring complicated backend setup.
- Creating an enterprise-grade dark UI that turns dense text into clean, digestible visual cards and actionable follow-ups in seconds.
What we learned
- Best practices for designing predictable JSON schemas to handle noisy, unstructured natural language input.
- How to balance rapid frontend prototyping with clean modular structure for team collaboration.
What's next for SynapseFlow — Enterprise AI AutoFlow
- Direct two-way integrations with Jira, Linear, Asana, and Trello boards.
- Automated webhook dispatching to Slack channels and Microsoft Teams.
