Syllabus to Calendar

Inspiration: A lot of classes had really big syllabi and this would speed up setting up a calendar for the class.

What it does: It tells you when important assignments are due and allows you to add it to your calendar.

How we built it: Vanilla JavaScript, CSS, HTML, pdf.js, OpenAI API, addEvent Calendar

Challenges we ran into - How to convert PDF to text. Tried Tesseract and Ghostscript but decided on using pdf.js

Accomplishments that we're proud of - We finished in time.

What we learned - Improved my familiarity with JavaScript

What's next for Syllabus to Calendar - Add toggles for selecting certain types of assignments.
