Syllabus Simplifier

Inspiration

Our inspiration comes from trying to improve the quality of life of Ohio State Students. Reading long and all over the place syllabus is a annoying and tedious task. Every semester, we all have a new set of syllabi to read.

What it does

Our project is a way for people to quickly read syllabi. We all know how it feels opening an extreme long syllabus. This project functionality is instantly summarizing syllabi to save time and to get a quick overview. Often the grading scale and assignment break downs are hidden somewhere in an impossible place to find. There is also a syllabus search functionality that users can search for a syllabus from the Ohio State database to summarize.

How we built it

Our team designed the Syllabus Simplifier using Loveable and lot of ingenuity.

Challenges we ran into

Loveable is a great application to design UI's and build functionality. As great of a new tool Lovable is, it does not always work as instructed. There were some road blocks when trying to get Loveable to work as designed.

Going forward

We look forward to improving this and add extra functionality!
