Inspiration
Molding your learning to be shaped after your courses at UTD, and offering interactivity in the process.
What it does
Provides ease of life with registering courses and course plans on a website to curate questions and promote healthy competition between students.
How I built it
I used Typescript, CSS, Javascript , Firebase, Anthropic API, and Nebula Labs AI to create Sygnus
Challenges I ran into
Working alone was the biggest challenge I had, as I had to take care of all the bugs and create a full MVP by myself. However, it was extremely rewarding when I did finish.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Completing everything alone is something that I didn't expect, so it is really nice to know that I did complete the hackathon.
What we learned
I gained proficiency with full-stack development in Typescript, but also learned how to manipulate Nebula Labs API and call Anthropic's API.
What's next for Sygnus
Further curation between fields, adding syllabi and textbooks to the website, and AI learning from quizzes and lecture reviews.
