Inspiration

We noticed that there was a disconnect between writing notes during a meeting and correlating them to efficient active tasks.

What it does

Sybau converts in-person meeting notes into actionable tasks in Linear, Jira, Notion, Trello, and etc.

How we built it

The team used next.js, supabase(postgres), and the gemini API to analyze notes and connect with task management/kanban platfroms through OAuth and their APIs.

Challenges we ran into

Accurately rendering markdown files on the page, identifying tasks from unstructured notes and creating a universal format that works across different task platforms.

What we learned

Meeting notes follow predictable patterns that AI can leverage. We stepped back and focused on specific pain points (notes to tasks) created more value than building out a comprehensive meeting tool.
