Inspiration

The Covid19-Virus has a large impact on our life's. But how does your individual way of live have an impact on the Virus?

What it does

Simulates the spread and severity of the virus in Switzerland. We solve the differential equations derived by the SEIR epidemiology model. The solution is based on following article: https://towardsdatascience.com/social-distancing-to-slow-the-coronavirus-768292f04296

How we built it

Python script to prototype the model. Javascript to implement it in a website.

What's next for SwissCovidSim

The model seems to have an accurate prediction (at least for the bit of data that is available...) We want to use a regression model to determine the Exposed factor within Switzerland to determine the actual starting point of the epidemic => model would have better prediction. Also make the Website more fancy.
