Inspiration
Learning that there was no defined prompt this year we decided to go the route of State Farm's challenge statement. Brainstorming helped us realize that I would be great to have someway/somehow to manage all your necessities in one place; thus igniting our flame to create Swish Army Life
What it does
Swish Army Life takes all your apps for managing your home, car(s), and life in general and puts them in one easily accessible hub.
How we built it
Swish Army Life was built with Flask framework as well as HTML and CSS.
Challenges we ran into
One of our teammates had to leave early because she fell ill. We also had to experiment with other Python frameworks like Django and Streamlit before deciding that Flask would best suit our needs.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the fact that we were able to understand and use the technologies that we had no experience within the 24 hours time frame.
What we learned
That when we are all able to work together on something we can easily accomplish what we want and how we want only being limited by our time. We all had to learn to adapt multiple times(learning different languages and programs) because of some of the challenges we came across the 24 hours we worked on this project
What's next for Swiss Army Life
We wants to include the implementation of a database system for user management, alongside transitioning from a local application to a full-fledged website, ensuring a professional user experience.
