Inspiration
I used to play lots of traditional RPGs and dungeon crawlers which have lots of memorable boss battles. These days I don't have much time to play them. So I thought that I could simplify the experience by keeping the boss fights from those genres into a mobile setting. The goal is to optimise for mobile play sessions, while retaining certain traditional elements such as boss fights, loots, and customisation as well.
I also drew inspiration from clicker heroes which is an incremental boss-battler game where you click to fight bosses and progress. But I replaced clicking with the swiping for slightly more gameplay depth since this will not be an idle game.
