What inspired you: I was faced with the challenge of adding a new chair to my cramped office space without disrupting the existing décor. To solve this problem, I was inspired to create an augmented reality (AR) chair that would allow me to visualize the chair in 3D and adjust its size and placement in real-time. Through research and design, I created a prototype that allowed me to confidently select and add a new chair to my office space.

What I learned: I learned how to use Lens Studio software to create an augmented reality (AR) chair that helped me visualize how a new chair would fit in my cramped office space without disrupting the existing décor. This experience taught me valuable skills in AR technology and opened my eyes to the vast potential of this technology in various industries, from gaming and entertainment to healthcare and education.

How I built this project: To build my AR chair project, I used Lens Studio to create a 3D virtual chair and published it on Snapchat. I created a video with a voice over using Descript to explain the project's uses. This experience taught me valuable skills in AR technology and software and allowed me to share my work with a wider audience.

Challenges Faced: A significant challenge I faced while building my AR chair project was getting the AR chair to fit perfectly within the given space. By reducing the virtual 3D image pixels, I was able to speed up the mobile camera's scanning process, allowing the AR chair to be placed more quickly and accurately.
