Inspiration

I was inspired by the speed of transactions and the revenue opportunities it creates for liquidity providers

What it does

SwiftSwap is a Decentralized Exchange platform, designed for swapping ERC20 tokens

How we built it

We built the platform interface using React.js and the Uniswap AMM Version 1

Challenges we ran into

Integrating the smart contracts with the interface posed considerable barriers to our progress and implementing the token swap capabilities also proved daunting.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The platform connect requests the wallet connections by clicking and its very exciting. The smart contracts were successfully deployed and we learnt alot about how Automated Market Makers really work under the hood, unveiling our eyes to new web 3 ventures

What we learned

Exploring the Electroneum documentation and deploying a test contract on testnet, I was amazed by the blazing speed and low cost requirement to deploy smart contracts ont he electroneum network, which unlocks endless possibilities for dApps. Electroneum being EVM compatible made it seamless to integrate other chains on our dApp

What's next for SwiftSwap

We have laid a growth roadmap founded on establishing a robust and reliable exchange infrastructure, including an API that can be integrated by a several services in the ecosystem, to enable seamless exchanges between tokens. SwiftSwap also plans to establish investment opportunities for prospective liquidity providers
