Inspiration

When I first learned about the hackathon, I was faced with the daunting question of what to build. It was then that I put myself in the shoes of a customer, considering situations where online signatures are crucial. Two instances immediately stood out: job offers and contracting for services. I was inspired to harness the power of two transformative technologies, Zoom for video calls and DocuSign for signatures, both of which have become integral parts of our digital landscape in just the last five years.

As the idea took shape, I embarked on the journey to bring it to life. I eagerly sought out developers to join me in this endeavor, but with the deadline looming, finding the right team proved challenging. Undeterred, I pressed on, armed with the MVP I had already crafted for the project. When traditional development approaches hit roadblocks, I turned to AI as a powerful ally. Navigating the intricacies of front-end development and cloud integration proved to be a formidable task, but I resolved to present my vision as a product manager, aiming to captivate the judges' attention.

In the process, I delved deeper into the expansive world of Dropbox products, gaining invaluable insights. This experience not only enriched my understanding of their offerings but also honed my skills in working with APIs. The vision for the project crystallized: a web interface hosting Zoom calls with multiple camera feeds, flanked by the contract in the center. All parties would have a clear view of the agreement, and the signing process would be facilitated seamlessly through Dropbox Sign. Additionally, any necessary NDAs would be swiftly handled prior to the call.

To bring this vision to fruition, I planned to leverage the OpenAI API, harnessing the power of ChatGPT3 to autonomously generate contracts. The integration of Zoom API or Dropbox Capture would ensure that the video call was meticulously recorded. I envisioned this app not only as a game-changer for service providers seeking a streamlined process for signing, recording, and video conferencing, but also as an indispensable tool for businesses requiring swift contract execution and receipt generation on the go.
