Swift Study
Inspiration
We made Swift Study because it is hard to find simple, free and easy to use study tools.
What it does
Swift Study makes the learning process better by utilizing both flashcards and a testing feature to help users learn faster.
How we built it
We built Swift Study using the language C# and by utilizing Windows Form Applications to its fullest.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into errors concerning our use of 2d arrays and strings, and while switching between the two was routinely required, it caused issues when we needed to access the same 2d array across multiple methods. We solved this by changing parts of the code to fit around a declaration outside the methods.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Considering that previously we failed to meet the deadline, us having a good, fully working project is a massive improvement over last year.
What we learned
From this, we learned that staying on top of time pressure is critical to creating a successful project and that it is important to carefully analyze every individual part of a program for errors.
What's next for Swift Study
We feel that although our finished product is good, it could be expanded upon by adding more features and improving the UI.
