What it does
Swift Credit is intended to loan out emergency loans to salary earners, both business and civil servants alike, who are registered to a bank, have a continuous salary from that bank and can give a proof of their profession...
How we built it
Currently the app is built using web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JAVASCRIPT with Bootstrap as a CSS framework. This is done so as to enable the integration of Vue Js later on to ensure accessibility across multiple devices...
Challenges we ran into
- Currently one major challenge in the building process has been meeting up with time, given we had to carry out enough research, planning, and prototyping before commencement of the build...
- In light of the actualization of the app, we seen the major challenge so far to be the acquisition of a partnership with a microfinance to grant these loans to us when out clients needs arises...

The apps basic research and planning was to out best capabilities, fully carried out, including the design structure of the app. This includes the go to market strategy.
What we learned
As a result of Swift Credit, we got to learn more about the loans and interest rate structure of microfinances in Cameroon, alongside studying our competitors to know unique value...
What's next for Swift Credit
- Swift Credit is heading towards a future of financial ease to all salary earners, and equally management the implementation of other salary earners who don't have a continuous salary from the bank.
- Swift Credit is equally looking at expansion through not only multiple devices, but equally implement the usability of USSD technologies to help those without access to smartphones to be part of this system.
