SwitchUp is built to empower individuals across industries to find 1) matched peers who can help them in their switch journey and 2) crafted skills-building courses

Creating a code-based prototype

We want to build a peer to peer skill sharing community for people who were laid off due to the pandemic so that they can have a way to gain insight in to their next career and we also provide short term courses to help them understand what the field is about, what the trends are and so on... We build it using figma (for prototyping), canva and affinity (for design and outline. We used zoom to record the demo video. The revenue generation model includes Ads from companies to advertise their courses there and subscription for users to be part of the courses. We may add subscription for recruiters as a future revenue model. We faced challenges regarding fitting our ideas to the 2 limit video and also choosing a starting point as we had a lot of ideas to go with. At the end of the day we collaborated, despite the time zone difference and tried to do what we can.
