Sweet Defense is an asymmetrical assault-style mobile/VR game inspired by the hit 90s television show American Gladiators. The game features a single runner whose objective is to either reach the finish line or hit a designated target while avoiding fire from up to five shooters.

I designed this world to be remixable due to the interchangeable nature of all game elements. The modular structure allows for easy adaptation across different environments and themes, with everything organized for plug-and-play functionality. Most elements can be modified through property panels, while additional customizations are accessible through well-documented scripts that guide users through the customization process. The world has been stripped to focus on the game funtionality.

The development process was relatively smooth since the original Sweet Defense is currently active and functional. However, creating this remixable version provided an opportunity to step back, analyze, and optimize the codebase. This process allowed me to identify and eliminate unnecessary components, ultimately removing four unused functions and streamlining the overall code structure.

I approached this remixable world from a collaborative developer perspective rather than focusing solely on end-user experience. My priority was ensuring that documentation remained clear and concise, enabling other developers to easily understand, modify, and build upon the foundation I've created.
