Inspiration
At first we wanted to build a network visualization website that Berkeley clubs and organizations could use for their lineages/family trees. However, due to our lack of knowledge/skills we were unable to follow through with that idea. Instead, we decided to build an assistant chatbot for LATAM airlines.
What it does
Our chatbot is an AI virtual assistant that is integrated to WhatsApp. It can give users updated information on their flights and provide an enhanced passenger experience.
How we built it
We built it using pipedream.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into a lot of challenges regarding scheduling conflicts as well as one of our members becoming very sick. Our lack of skills also made it difficult to complete the project as we had never done something like this before.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we were actually able to come up with something and have a completed project.

What's next for SWEcandoit
We will try to see if we can work on our original idea.
