Inspiration

We wanted to make quality healthcare more accessible and affordable, especially for people in underserved areas who struggle to reach expert doctors.

What it does

SwasthSetu connects patients and doctors through online appointments, live video consultations, AI-powered health assistance, and automated medicine and vaccination reminders.

How we built it

We used React and Vite for the frontend, Node.js and Express.js for the backend, and MongoDB for data storage. We integrated Gemini AI, video consultation, JWT authentication, and automated email reminders.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating multiple services, managing authentication, connecting frontend and backend APIs, and resolving deployment and environment configuration issues were our main challenges.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built a full-stack healthcare platform that brings consultation, AI assistance, and healthcare reminders together in one place.

What we learned

We improved our skills in full-stack development, API integration, database management, authentication, deployment, and teamwork.

What's next for SwasthSetu

We plan to improve AI-assisted health guidance, enhance the user experience, add more healthcare features, and make the platform more reliable and accessible.
