Our work is inspired by a paper "Time-Varying Data Visualization Using Information Flocking Boids" that shows the possibility of visualizing data by simulation of boids (individual birds in a flock).

We make several improvements on existing models that are described in the paper and other canonical ones, so that we can have predator-prey model mixed in.

We believe that our visualization of swarming systems is based on rules that are mathematically sound and despite deviating from conventional methods it can be applied to more general fields, especially distributed systems such as stock markets and robotics. It also provides educational opportunities for those who are interested in natural interaction of various entities, not limited to animals.
