Inspiration : Astrology has always been a part of Indian culture, but getting a personalized Vedic Kundli often requires visiting an astrologer or using complicated platforms that can be difficult for beginners to understand.
We wanted to build something simple, accessible, and modern that brings traditional Vedic astrology into a user-friendly digital experience. This inspired us to create AstroDrishti — a platform where users can explore their birth chart and receive personalized astrological insights.
What it does : AstroDrishti is a digital Vedic astrology platform that generates personalized astrological information based on a user's birth details.
Users can:

The core idea is to make the process of exploring one's Kundli simple, digital, and easy to understand.
How we built it : We built AstroDrishti using modern web technologies:

The application collects the user's birth information, processes it through the application's astrology logic, generates the relevant information, and presents it in an intuitive interface.
Challenges we ran into : One of our biggest challenges was converting a traditional concept like Vedic astrology into a simple and modern digital experience.
We faced challenges such as:
Handling different birth date and time inputs. Processing birth-place information correctly. Connecting the frontend with the backend and database. Storing and retrieving generated Kundli reports. Designing a responsive interface. Generating structured and readable reports. Debugging deployment and integration issues.
Overcoming these challenges helped us understand how individual technologies come together to create a complete real-world product.
Accomplishments that we're proud of : We are proud of turning our idea into a fully functional Vedic astrology web application rather than just a prototype.
Our biggest accomplishments include:

What we learned : Building AstroDrishti helped us develop both technical and product-building skills.
We learned how to:
Build a complete full-stack web application. Connect frontend, backend, and database services. Store and retrieve user-generated reports. Create responsive interfaces for different devices. Handle date, time, and location-based user inputs. Design a product around a real-world cultural use case. Debug integration and deployment problems.
Most importantly, we learned that a good project is not just about writing code — it is about creating an experience that solves a real problem for users.
What's next for AstroDrishti : AstroDrishti is just the beginning. Our next goal is to make it a more personalized, intelligent, and accessible Vedic astrology platform.
