InspirationSVS-EYE: Scan Virtual System
About the Project
SVS-EYE (Scan Virtual System) is an AI-powered visual inspection system designed to identify and investigate potential defects in manufactured products.
Traditional quality inspection can be time-consuming and expensive, especially for small manufacturers. SVS-EYE aims to make defect inspection more accessible by combining computer vision with AI-driven analysis.
Using OpenCV, the system processes product images to identify suspicious surface patterns. It then focuses on potential defect regions for further analysis and generates a visual inspection report containing detected regions, findings, and recommendations for human review when needed.
Key Features
- Smart Visual Scanning: Analyze uploaded product images.
- Potential Defect Detection: Highlight suspicious surface regions.
- Focused Investigation: Re-examine selected regions for additional evidence.
- Visual Inspection Reports: Present findings in an easy-to-understand format.
- Human-in-the-Loop Review: Flag uncertain results for human inspection.
- Accessible Quality Control: Aim to reduce inspection effort and make visual analysis more accessible.
Technology Stack
- Python
- OpenCV 5
- AI-based image analysis
- Streamlit for the user interface
- AWS for cloud-based functionality
Our Innovation
SVS-EYE aims to go beyond basic defect detection by combining visual analysis, focused investigation, and evidence-based reporting in a single workflow.
Our Vision
Our vision is to help manufacturers identify potential quality issues earlier, improve inspection workflows, and reduce avoidable product waste through accessible AI technology.
