The motivation behind SVADHYAYA stems from the need to assist book lovers who may be unaware of the availability of free books on Google. Many readers face challenges in extracting the main ideas from texts and struggle with understanding complex vocabulary. Svadhyaya's objective is to offer free PDF versions of books accessible on Google, enabling readers to leverage AI technology to extract essential insights from lengthy texts and comprehend the meaning of complex words within the PDFs.

What it does

Svadhyaya offers users access to an extensive collection of free books available on Google, accompanied by related videos. The platform is thoughtfully designed with captivating features, all geared towards enriching the user's understanding and enjoyment of the books.

How we built it

Svadhyaya is developed using a combination of frontend and backend technologies. The entire program is built using Django and Python, which form the core of the application. Additionally, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are utilized to create the website, ensuring an appealing and interactive user interface. Furthermore, Svadhyaya incorporates Google API and YouTube API embedding to enhance its functionality and provide additional features to the users.

Challenges we ran into

-I faced challenges while dealing with the server and debugging the issues that arose. -I also encountered difficulties in locating a freely available, completely operational API that can be utilized without interruption.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

-The integration of AI for comprehending complex information holds the potential to assist a wide range of individuals, including researchers, students, and teachers. -User-Friendly Interface: I created a sleek and intuitive user interface that prioritizes usability and enhances the overall user experience. -I have undertaken a project that has made a significant contribution to society.

What we learned

I have acquired knowledge on utilizing Google's API to access freely available books while also gaining proficiency in leveraging AI technologies effectively.
