Inspiration

We wanted to help elderly people who find it hard to use digital payment apps. Many seniors feel confused or scared about using technology and worry about making mistakes. Our chatbot was inspired by the need to make digital payments easy, safe, and friendly for older adults.

What it does

Suvidha Bot guides seniors step-by-step in using UPI payments. It talks and listens through voice or text to help send money, check balances, and pay bills. The bot gives clear instructions in simple language and keeps users safe from fraud.

How we built it

We used smart AI technology to understand what users say and respond politely. The bot can speak many languages, including Hindi, so everyone can use it easily. We connected it with UPI payment systems securely and designed it with big text and easy buttons for ease of use.

Challenges we ran into

  • Understanding slow or unclear speech from elderly users
  • Ensuring security and protection of user money
  • Designing a simple interface that welcomes people of all tech levels

To keep transactions safe, we use encryption:

Here, (E_{K}) is encryption with key (K), (D) is data, and (C) is the encrypted data sent over the network.

The data is decrypted with:

This ensures sensitive information stays private and secure.
