Inspiration Sustainify aims to boost environmental awareness and community involvement in sustainability. Recognizing the urgency of climate change, I developed a platform that encourages volunteering while rewarding efforts through Eco Tokens, promoting a circular economy and motivating users to engage in eco-friendly actions.

Learning Experience Building Sustainify deepened my web development skills with Flask, including user session management, form handling, and Google Maps integration for volunteer locations. I enhanced my proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, focusing on responsive design and user-friendly interfaces.

Building the Project The project features key functionalities, including:

User Registration: A signup form for easy user access. Activity Logging: A logging system that updates Eco Tokens based on volunteering. Interactive Map: Integrated Google Maps for locating nearby volunteer opportunities. Leaderboard: A feature to foster friendly competition by displaying Eco Tokens. Challenges Faced I faced challenges in managing user sessions to ensure consistent data access and navigating the complexities of Google Maps integration. Additionally, creating a responsive and visually appealing design required experimentation with layout techniques to maintain an intuitive user experience.
