Inspiration

Our inspiration for Sustainify stemmed from a desire to encourage users to engage in daily challenges, fostering a sense of accomplishment and improvement over time in keeping a ecofriendly environment!

What it does

Sustainify generates three challenges for users to complete daily. Upon completion, users can mark off their achievements, gradually enhancing their ranking.

How we built it

We utilized React for the development of Sustainify and integrated the OpenAI API to generate prompts for daily challenges.

Challenges we ran into

Throughout the development process, we encountered challenges such as effectively handling data, designing an aesthetically pleasing UI, establishing connections to external APIs, and ensuring smooth teamwork dynamics.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We take pride in achieving a functional result and successfully establishing the foundational structure of our goal.

What we learned

Our journey with Sustainify taught us valuable lessons in dividing and conquering tasks effectively and the importance of keeping the project simple for a smoother development process.

What's next for Sustainify

Moving forward, our plan is to continue refining and expanding on ideas to enhance user-friendliness. We aim to implement features that enable users to easily track their task completion and provide proof of their achievements.
