Inspiration We were inspired by the growing impact of climate change and the lack of awareness about individual carbon footprints. We wanted to create a solution that makes sustainable living simple, trackable, and accessible to everyone.
What it does Sustainify helps users track their carbon footprint, analyze daily habits, and get personalized suggestions to reduce environmental impact through smart insights and recommendations.
How we built it We built Sustainify as a web app using modern technologies. The frontend focuses on a clean UI, while the backend processes user data and calculates carbon emissions. We also integrated databases and APIs for real-time insights.
Challenges we ran into We faced challenges in finding accurate emission data, simplifying complex calculations, and balancing features with a user-friendly interface under time constraints.
