Inspiration

Our inspiration came from the need to bridge the gender gap in cybersecurity, an industry where women remain underrepresented. We also saw an opportunity to incorporate sustainability into the tech world, ensuring both security and eco-conscious innovation go hand in hand.

What it does

SustainHer focuses on empowering women in the cybersecurity field by providing educational resources, career opportunities, and mentorship. In addition, it promotes sustainable technology practices to ensure digital safety while being environmentally responsible.

How we built it

We built SustainHer by combining expertise in cybersecurity with sustainable tech practices. Our team collaborated across disciplines, leveraging diverse skills to develop an inclusive platform that offers educational materials, job opportunities, and eco-friendly guidelines for cybersecurity professionals.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges we faced was creating a platform that appeals to both women and tech enthusiasts while ensuring it remained environmentally sustainable. We also encountered difficulties in sourcing the right partners for mentorship and career-building programs.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of creating a unique space that merges sustainability with cybersecurity. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, especially from women seeking opportunities in the cybersecurity field.

What's next for Untitled
