Inspiration

I personally was previously thinking about ways that I could be more sustainable and reduce wastage. I thought about how I could be more sustainable throughout the day, for instance, while eating, making purchases etc.

What it does

Reads text from receipts (or from amazon platform in future) using AI from the Google Vision module. Displays information such that it is easy for the user to consider their purchases thoroughly and question ways through which they could be more sustainable. Can also give health advice based on purchases, specifically in food. (not fully implemented). Unimplemented ideas include the reuse app—a way to easily give 2nd hand items to NGOs/homeless shelters/other people/recycling instead of disposing off and inspiration posts where users get inspiration from others about how they are implementing sustainable practices in their lives. E.g. how to use old peppers for fertiliser and local NGOs performing collection drives.

Making front-end and back-end servers communicate. Deciding upon a single idea to create. Finishing enough of the project in time.
