Inspiration

Water resources in California are limited and for rural areas, access to affordable water treatment is still needed. Especially in the Central Valley where farm workers are concentrated, “communities deal with dried-up wells, defective underground pipes 254,000 people are at risk for nitrate contamination in their water.” Due to this, many resort to buying bottled water, which is costly in the long run.

What it does

Produces freshwater while minimizing heat loss and maximizes efficiency of output water for agriculture use.
